DALLAS – The announcement was made last night the the Yankees and Max Fried are in an agreement for an 8-Year $218M deal, with the Average Annual Value (AAV) shaping out to be about $27.25M/per year.

This is a huge deal for the Yankees. This opens up so many opportunities, especially for trades. Multiple reports indicate that the Yankees are frontrunners and heavily linked and heavily pursuing a trade of OF Kyle Tucker from the Houston Astros. Houston is asking for C/1B Ben Rice and RHP Luis Gil.
