Rodón pitched very well today, putting up seven innings of 1-run ball. The one run was scored on back-to-back singles by Ramires and Fry on some questionable defense by LeMahieu.
- The Yankees were being no-hit through 4.1 innings till a little blooper off the bat of Chisholm fell in front of Stephen Quan for a hit. Later in the inning after an Escarra walk, DJ LeMahieu hit an RBI single scoring Chisholm to give the Yankees a 1–0 lead. Ben Rice would ground out with the bases loaded to end the inning.
- The Yankees would score twice in the seventh on back-to-back home runs by Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Anthony Volpe, making it 3–1 NYY.
- Mark Leiter Jr. continues his strong season with a scoreless eighth inning.
- Devin Williams came on for the Save, his first after relinquishing the closer role from the injured Luke Weaver and made everyone sweat, giving up one run after a double by Santana and an Pinch-hit RBI single by Schneemann, but got Naylor to fly out to end the game.
